Walters Handmade Honey Nougat was started by our Mum, Gilly Walters, in the family kitchen in 1999. The business grew by word of mouth and soon production spilled out from the family kitchen into the double garage. Shortly Gilly’s three sons and daughter-in-law’s joined the business and in 2006, we moved in to our state of the art factory in the KZN Midlands.
Our nougat is handmade using only the finest ingredients. We use no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours – just good honest food made the old fashioned way. We hand crack the best fresh farm eggs, we use 100% natural vanilla, select only the highest grade local honey directly from the beekeeper and use the highest quality nuts roasted to perfection.
